Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as railway worker in train traffic control. Training involves learning to safely and punctually control train traffic, operating signals and switches, applying operational regulations, and working with various interlocking techniques from mechanical to digital systems. Work involves shift duty including weekends and holidays.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Safely and punctually controlling train traffic
Communicating with colleagues in train traffic control and control centers as well as locomotive drivers
Operating signals and switches at the right time
Applying operational regulations and safety-relevant rules
Working with various interlocking techniques from mechanical to digital systems

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized German diploma
German language skills at minimum B2 level
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in demanding situations
Willingness to take responsibility and work with concentration
Teamwork skills and reliability
Willingness to work in shifts
