This is a 3-year training program starting on September 1, 2026, for the position of Zugverkehrssteuerer (train traffic controller) with DB InfraGO AG in Frankfurt (Oder). The vocational school is located in Berlin Reinickendorf. The role involves working as part of a team in a control center and managing train signals, switches, and operations.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Learn how to operate the technology in a control center step by step
know when to press the right buttons to adjust switches or signals
communicate frequently with other team members, control center staff, and train drivers
ensure safe and punctual journeys for passengers

Anforderungen:

You have successfully completed or are about to complete school and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
your German language skills are at least at B2 level
you remain calm and keep an overview even in challenging situations
you enjoy taking responsibility and work with focus
teamwork and reliability characterize you
you are willing to work in shifts
