Jobbeschreibung:

This position involves 3 years of training as 'Eisenbahner:in in der Zugverkehrssteuerung' starting on September 1, 2026, at DB InfraGO AG in Berlin. The vocational school is also located in Berlin. The training covers technical skills required for train traffic coordination and working in various environments such as operating centers or local signal boxes. The role ensures efficient and safe rail operations.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Your colleagues will show you step by step how to properly operate the technology in a signal box
You will learn when to press the right buttons and switches, e.g., to change signals (traffic lights) or switches (transitions for a track change)
You will often be in contact with other staff members in train traffic control, control centers, and train drivers
You will be an important part of our team and enable our passengers to have a safe and punctual journey on our trains

Anforderungen:

You have successfully completed school or will soon do so, and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
Your German language skills correspond to at least B2 level
You remain calm and keep an overview even in challenging situations
You are willing to take responsibility and work in a concentrated manner
Teamwork and reliability are your strengths
You are ready to work in shifts
