Jobbeschreibung:

As a Zugverkehrssteuerer, you work in the signal box, navigating train traffic to ensure safe, punctual, and smooth train operations. The retraining program includes theoretical and practical training sections, with theoretical lessons in regional training centers and practical assignments near your home. After successful retraining and proof of required suitability, you will receive a gross annual salary starting from €44,326 plus shift allowances.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

navigating train traffic from the signal box
setting routes (track, switches, signals) for trains
ensuring safe departure, e.g., from a station
monitoring operations in stations
communicating and coordinating with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training, e.g., as a retail salesman, restaurant specialist, bakery salesperson, or office clerk
basic PC skills
ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
team spirit and willingness to take responsibility
willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work) and flexibility
