Jobbeschreibung:

Training as a train traffic controller starting September 1, 2026, in various locations (Freiburg, Basel, Lörrach, Weil am Rhein, Offenburg). Train as a key coordinator of train operations from a signal box. The position involves learning diverse signal technology, communicating with train staff, and ensuring safe and punctual train movement. The training includes a mix of practical experience on-site and theoretical sessions in Freiburg. Additional seminars will occasionally take place across Germany.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

You will learn how to operate technology in a signal box correctly
You will know how to press the right buttons and switches to control signals (traffic lights) and track switches
You will frequently be in contact with colleagues in traffic control, in command centers, and with train drivers
You play an essential role in enabling safe and punctual train journeys for passengers

Anforderungen:

You have (or will soon achieve) a school diploma recognized in Germany
Your German language skills are at least B2-level
You remain calm and keep an overview even in demanding situations
You take responsibility and work with concentration
Teamwork and reliability characterize you
You are willing to work in shifts
