Jobbeschreibung:

As a Zugverkehrssteuerer, you work in the signal box, navigating train traffic to ensure safe, punctual, and smooth train operations. The role involves theoretical and practical training, shift work, and coordination with various stakeholders in the railway system.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

steering train traffic via levers, push buttons, and rotary switches
setting routes (track, switches, signals) for trains and ensuring safe departure, e.g., from a station
monitoring operations in stations
communicating and coordinating with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training, e.g., as a retail salesman, restaurant specialist, bakery salesperson, or office clerk
basic PC skills
ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
team skills and willingness to take responsibility
willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work) and flexibility
