Jobbeschreibung:

The 2-year training program to become a train traffic controller (w/m/d) starts on September 1, 2026. The training takes place at DB InfraGO AG in Munich, with seminars at DB Training in Munich and vocational school in Landshut. After the training and a 12-month practical deployment, one of three further qualifications can be pursued: Specialist for railway operations in the operations center or in the Munich network, Train dispatcher, or Track planner.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Observing and controlling train traffic with technical support
Deciding when trains should stop, start, or overtake
Operating switches and light signals
Communicating with train drivers via radio
Learning and operating different signaling techniques
Setting routes for trains safely and punctually
Coordinating with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of (Fach-)Abitur
German language skills at least at level C1
Concentrated and reliable way of working
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Communication skills and team spirit
