Jobbeschreibung:

The Deutsche Bahn is looking for candidates for a two-year training program in train traffic control, followed by professional development as a trainer in railway operations. The training will take place at the DB Training location in Frankfurt am Main with theory at the Heinrich-Kleyer School and practical work at DB InfraGO AG. Successful participants will be eligible for a permanent position.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Familiarize yourself with working on a signal box and gain an overview of the handling of train journeys
Learn and operate different signal box technologies
Understand the regulations and guidelines for the planned execution of daily train journeys
Acquire expertise to ensure safe and smooth train traffic in your area
Take responsibility for switches and signals, as well as for passengers and trains
Learn the basics of sales, route management, and operational management in the follow-up qualification
Pass on your knowledge to future railway traffic controllers as a trainer.

Anforderungen:

You have completed or will soon complete your (specialized) high school diploma recognized in Germany
Your German language skills correspond to level C2
You remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
You like to take responsibility and work with concentration
Teamwork and reliability are among your strengths
You are good at understanding complex content and communicating it to others
Speaking in front of large groups comes easily to you
You are flexible and enjoy traveling across Germany.
