Jobbeschreibung:

Join DB InfraGO AG as an apprentice to become a Zugverkehrssteuerer in the traffic control of rail networks. You will train for three years to operate signal box technologies and coordinate train movements. Gain practical experience in signal boxes across Schleswig-Holstein and attend school lessons in Hamburg-Nettelnburg. Be a critical part of train staff, ensuring safe and punctual rides for passengers while working collaboratively in the field.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

You will learn how to correctly operate the technology in a signal box step by step with your colleagues
you will learn when to push the right buttons and knobs to, for example, switch signals or points for track changes
you will frequently communicate with other staff in train traffic control, control centers, and train drivers
you will contribute to ensuring safe and punctual train rides for passengers

Anforderungen:

You have successfully completed school or will soon finish, and your school diploma is officially recognized in Germany
your German language skills meet at least the B2 level
even in demanding situations, you remain calm and maintain an overview
you enjoy taking responsibility and working in a focused manner
you are characterized by teamwork and reliability
you are willing to work in shifts
