Jobbeschreibung:

As a Zugverkehrssteuerer, you work in the signal box. From there you navigate rail traffic and ensure safe, punctual and smooth train operations. This is a career change opportunity with training starting June 1, 2026 at DB InfraGO AG.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Control rail traffic from signal boxes using levers, push buttons and rotary switches
Set routes (track routes, switches, signals) and guide rail traffic through daily challenges
Monitor operations in stations as the eyes and ears of rail traffic in the region
Communication and coordination with colleagues in signal boxes, control centers and train drivers

Anforderungen:

Successfully completed vocational training (e.g., retail merchant, flight attendant, IT systems electronics technician, landscape gardener, medical assistant, tram driver, ramp agent, baker)
OR university entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife or allgemeine Hochschulreife) plus at least 2 years of professional experience or at least 4 semesters of study experience
Very good German language skills (C1 level)
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in demanding situations
Team skills and willingness to take responsibility
Willingness to work shifts (early, late, night shifts including holidays and weekends)
Possession of a car driver's license
