Jobbeschreibung:

As a train traffic controller, you work in the signal box. From there, you navigate train traffic and ensure safe, punctual, and smooth train operations. We are looking for career changers for the position of train traffic controller at DB InfraGO AG in Bretten, Durmersheim, Karlsruhe, or Rastatt.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Controlling train traffic from signal boxes using levers, push buttons, and rotary switches
Setting up routes (track routes, switches, signals) for trains and ensuring safe departure from stations
Monitoring operations in stations
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues in signal boxes, locomotive drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of vocational training (e.g., retail salesperson, restaurant specialist, bakery salesperson, or office clerk)
Basic PC skills
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in demanding situations
Team skills and willingness to take responsibility
Willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work) and flexibility
