Jobbeschreibung:

The 3-year apprenticeship (2.5 years with higher secondary education) as a train traffic controller involves learning to operate the technology in a signal box, coordinating train movements, and ensuring safe and punctual train operations. The training includes block lessons at BBS Lahnstein and practical shifts in early and late shifts.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Coordinate train movements
Operate signals and switches
Communicate with train drivers and team members
Ensure safe and punctual train operations

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in demanding situations
Good German language skills (minimum B2 level for foreign applicants)
Willingness to take responsibility and work attentively
Teamwork and reliability
Readiness to work in shifts
