Jobbeschreibung:

As a train traffic controller, you work in the signal box at the heart of the action. From there you control train traffic and ensure safe, punctual and smooth train operations for our passengers. The qualification takes place full-time (39 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical training sections - the entire qualification lasts about 7 months.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Control train traffic using levers, buttons and rotary switches
Set routes (track routes, switches, signals) for trains
Ensure safe departure from stations
Monitor station operations
Communicate and coordinate with colleagues in signal boxes, train drivers and control centers

Anforderungen:

Minimum 4 semesters of completed university studies
Alternatively completed vocational training
Ability to take responsibility and maintain overview in demanding situations
Independent, careful and solution-oriented working style
Ability to maintain concentration for longer periods
Willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work)
Team skills and flexibility
