The 3-year apprenticeship as a train traffic controller (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Schwandorf location includes learning to steer train traffic safely and punctually, communicating with colleagues and train drivers, and getting acquainted with various signal box techniques. The vocational school is located in Landshut.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Steer train traffic safely and punctually
Communicate with colleagues in train traffic control and dispatch centers as well as train drivers
Learn when to press the right buttons and switches to change signals or switches
Familiarize with operational regulations and safety-relevant rules
Get acquainted with various signal box techniques
Work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Anforderungen:

School diploma recognized in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in demanding situations
Willingness to take responsibility and work concentrated
Teamwork and reliability
Willingness to work in shifts
