Jobbeschreibung:

As a Zugverkehrssteuerer at DB InfraGO AG, you will manage safe, punctual, and smooth train operations in signal boxes across multiple locations. Training includes an intensive six-to-seven month program involving theoretical and practical lessons, assisting you in reliably carrying out train operations after your qualification. You will coordinate train and shunting movements, manage routes, and ensure effective communication with your team.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Manage train traffic in signal boxes using levers, push buttons, and PC clicks depending on the technology
set routes (track, switches, signals) for trains and ensure safe, punctual, and efficient execution of train and shunting movements
communicate and coordinate with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

You have a completed vocational training, e.g., as a retail salesperson, restaurant specialist, bakery sales specialist, or office clerk
you keep calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
you enjoy teamwork and are willing to take responsibility
you are prepared to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, and receive additional pay according to the collective agreement
you have good knowledge of German in speaking and writing
you bring basic PC knowledge
