The 3-year apprenticeship as a train traffic controller (w/m/d) at the DB InfraGO AG in Leipzig involves learning to operate electronic interlocking systems, monitor train traffic, and ensure safe and punctual train operations. The training includes step-by-step instruction from colleagues and requires shift work.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Control and monitor train traffic via electronic interlocking
Operate signals and switches to ensure safe and punctual train travel
Communicate with train drivers and other team members
Ensure the safety and punctuality of train operations

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school with a recognized German school-leaving qualification
Willingness to take responsibility and work attentively
Teamwork and reliability
Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in challenging situations
Willingness to work in shifts
