As a Zugverkehrssteuer:in, you will work in the signal box, navigating train traffic to ensure safe, punctual, and smooth train operations. The training includes theoretical and practical sections, with theoretical lessons in Koblenz and practical assignments as close to home as possible.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

control train traffic via levers, push buttons, and rotary switches
set routes (track, switches, signals) for trains
ensure safe departure, e.g., from a station
monitor operations in stations
communicate and coordinate with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training
basic PC skills
ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
team skills
willingness to take responsibility
willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work)
flexibility
