Jobbeschreibung:

As a Zugchef, you have overall responsibility in the Intercity and ICE trains, ensuring a service-oriented, punctual, and safe journey. The qualification program lasts 12 months and includes theoretical and practical training in Munich. After qualification, you will take on leadership and service responsibilities onboard.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

act as a host with a charming manner and positive demeanor
lead, steer, and coach up to ten employees on board
ensure excellent service for passengers and onboard catering
responsible for all passengers, service-oriented and technical measures
perform safety-related tasks and inform guests according to standards
ensure achievement of business goals such as customer satisfaction, punctuality, revenue security, and ticket inspection

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training
economic thinking and action
strong communication and conflict resolution skills
ability to assert oneself and take responsibility for decisions
willingness to work irregular shifts and overnight stays
initiative and resilience
willingness to acquire knowledge in vehicle technology
openness to digital communication tools
fluent German and good English skills
