Werkstudent Accounting

• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings – actively supporting us in day-to-day operations and learning what really matters in financial reporting
• Creation of reports and financial analyses – your evaluations provide the basis for informed decisions – for specialist departments, managers, and other stakeholders in the company
• Accompanying and optimizing intercompany reconciliations – you contribute to ensuring our intra-group allocations are correct – structured, traceable, and on time
• Analyzing data quality in management reporting - you get to the bottom of irregularities, analyze accounts and cost centers along the P&L and balance sheet, and support in clarifying deviations
• Taking over data imports into our Lucanet database – you are independently responsible for ensuring our figures are correctly, completely, and currently mapped in the systems
• Participation in exciting projects in the area of Accounting & Controlling – whether process optimization or tool implementation – you contribute your ideas and help us actively develop the area further

• Enrolled for at least two more semesters in business administration, business informatics, or a similar degree program and already in an advanced semester
• Available 16-20 hours per week to advance the Finance area
• Enjoy analyzing financial data in Excel – pivot tables and formulas are not new territory
• Must have: first practical experience in the field of accounting
• Ideally, have initial experience with DATEV and/or Lucanet
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Work in a structured, independent manner and enjoy thinking analytically
• Want to take on responsibility, not just complete tasks
