Jobbeschreibung:

Schlosser:in/ Metallbauer:in/ Industriemechaniker:in als Weichenmechaniker:in for DB InfraGO AG in Gelnhausen or Hanau. Starting as a skilled worker in the signal and safety technology area and going through several development steps up to the target position of switch mechanic.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Responsible for inspection, maintenance and repair work on switches and their signal and safety technology components
Carrying out work in regional area mostly in teams, independently and reliably
Creation of measurement and test protocols as well as completion reports
Work begins and ends at central base location
Undergoing internal qualification as switch mechanic
Attending regular training

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of training in metalworking, mechanics or comparable field (e.g., as metal builder, locksmith, industrial mechanic, construction mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, or comparable profession)
Willingness to work mostly outdoors and potentially in late shifts or occasionally on weekends as well as participate in late services or on-call duty
Reliability, teamwork and flexibility
Commitment and willingness to learn for completing internal qualification
Good knowledge of German language in speech and writing (minimum B2 level with proof)
Valid class B driver's license
