Als Venture Development Manager arbeitest du direkt mit dem Führungsteam (CEO, CFO, COO) zusammen und treibst strategische Projekte abteilungsübergreifend voran. Diese Position richtet sich an hochqualifizierte Talente mit Erfahrung aus Top-Strategieberatungen, Investmentbanken, Private-Equity oder ähnlich anspruchsvollen Umgebungen – mit anderen Worten, "MBA-Kaliber" mit einem exzellenten strategischen Hintergrund. Von Tag eins an übernimmst du Verantwortung für Initiativen in den Bereichen Operations, Sales oder Finance und agierst als verlängerter Arm des Managementteams, um das Wachstum und die Skalierung von PAUL zu beschleunigen.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Take on projects from conception and analysis to operational implementation in various corporate areas (Operations, Finance, Sales, etc.)
Optimization of capacity planning and resource allocation in our projects
Conducting cost optimization initiatives
Further development and design of our pricing model
Analysis of market and price data
Transparency in cash flow and proactive management of exposure
Co-development of digital tools and processes for real-time tracking of payments, supplier payments and project progress
Early risk detection and coordination of countermeasures
Establishment of seamless controlling for ongoing projects
Analysis of project and product costs, identification of value drivers and savings potential
Act as an entrepreneurial "troubleshooter" for urgent projects

Anforderungen:

MBA and/or professional experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment at a top strategy consultancy, investment bank, private equity firm, or a demanding startup/scale-up
Strong inner drive and proven academic & professional performance
Excellent analytical thinking, problem structuring and financial modeling skills
The ability to set up efficient business processes and independently manage a P&L
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and confident handling of various stakeholders
Strong action orientation and leadership qualities through active work
Deep understanding of business models and financial drivers
Familiarity with KPIs (P&L, cash flow, ROI)
Quick grasp of technical and product-related topics
High affinity for data and digital tools in data analysis and automation
ideally experience with applications such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Lovable or n8n
Fluent in German and English
Strong initiative, resilience and entrepreneurial drive

Experience in quickly scaling structures and processes during growth phases
