Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves inspection, maintenance, and repair work on rails, sleepers, track bed, drainage systems, and vegetation work. The role requires working with various materials, in different trades, and includes physically demanding activities. The position is based in Hamburg with tasks primarily in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

inspection, maintenance and repair work on e.g. rails, sleepers, track bed, drainage systems but also vegetation work
concrete and grouting work on sleepers, assembly and disassembly of operationally important systems and other track-related services
ensuring the safety of team colleagues and the desired results of a work order
participation in internal qualification program and regular training

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training as a locksmith, mason, metalworker, carpenter, landscape gardener, concrete worker in civil engineering, in structural engineering or in track construction or are a skilled worker in a comparable profession
ambition and suitability for acquiring further qualifications in the track construction trade
willingness to work shifts (night, weekend and public holiday work) as well as to work outdoors
interest in working with various materials and in different trades
enjoy physically demanding activities and working in a team
valid class B driving license
