Wien Energie, the largest regional energy provider in Austria, is responsible for supplying electricity, natural gas, heat, and cooling to around two million people, 230,000 commercial and industrial plants, and 4,500 agricultural businesses. The Technical Service Hub in Leoben/Styria will open in early autumn 2025, and they are looking for an electrical technician to take on exciting and varied tasks in the field of renewable energy generation and actively contribute to the energy transition.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks (maintenance and inspection, troubleshooting and routine repairs)
coordination of external companies including quality inspections
taking over plant responsibility and performing switching operations on low and high voltage systems after passing the switching authorization test
troubleshooting in emergency and breakdown service including on-call duty
contributing to continuous improvement of plant availability by independently suggesting and implementing improvements

Anforderungen:

successfully completed technical vocational training in electrical engineering
at least 3 years of relevant experience in the maintenance of industrial and power plant systems or plant construction
experience in the maintenance of photovoltaic, wind, or hydroelectric power plants
experience in medium and high voltage systems
basic knowledge of network technology
enjoyment of work and teamwork
willingness to learn new knowledge
possession of a class B driver's license
willingness to work at heights
