• Make every journey in ICE and Intercity a first-class experience for guests
• As attentive host, ensure pleasant atmosphere on board and assist with boarding and disembarking
• Responsible for preparation of food and drinks in the onboard restaurant
• Serve gastronomic offer at the seat in both 1st and 2nd class
• Act as competent contact person for guests' questions
• Provide high service quality and ensure guests feel completely comfortable

• Successful completion of training in a service-oriented profession such as restaurant specialist or hotel specialist
• Alternatively, professional experience in gastronomy or hotel industry
• Ability to achieve sales targets with additional or alternative offers
• Strong team and communication skills
• Ability to handle people and resolve conflict situations
• Openness to digital communication tools (tablets, apps)
• Willingness for overnight stays and irregular shift and alternating duty
• German language proficiency (spoken and written)
• English language skills for communication with guests
