We are looking for a Munich-based Staff Writer to join our Secret Media team, a fast-growing start-up focused on creating vibrant and original content about city life in Germany for platforms such as Secret Berlin and Secret Munich.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Identifying compelling stories and generating diverse content ideas for the assigned cities
Crafting engaging, accurate, and informative articles efficiently
Ensuring all site copy and headlines adhere to editorial guidelines and our style guide
Collaborating on an editorial calendar that balances news, reviews, and city-centric content, ranging from trending stories to planned campaigns
Creating SEO-friendly posts (SEO training will be provided if needed)
Assisting in promotional efforts and collaborating with our Social Media Networking team under manager guidance
Using analytics to refine your content strategy and make adjustments as necessary

Anforderungen:

Native-level proficiency in written and spoken German
Fluent English for internal communications
Demonstrated experience in digital writing
A keen understanding of what makes stories shareable on social platforms
Proficiency with social and digital publishing tools
A methodical approach to efficiently managing your beat
A strong connection to the German lifestyle, food, entertainment, and art scene, demonstrating a deep understanding of its cultural nuances
