Jobbeschreibung:

The role involves the further development of IT functionalities and the introduction of new software tools for duty scheduling within Vienna's public transport system, along with engaging in projects such as rotation algorithm optimization and contributing to strategic and multi-year planning.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Further development of existing IT functions
introduction of new software tools for duty scheduling
collaboration on projects like wish-duty software
modeling and optimization of rotation algorithms and models
defining and maintaining allocation patterns/rules
contributing operational experiences
regular exchange with other public transport companies, including international ones
reporting progress and insights to department management
contributing to optimal strategic planning
supporting economic and multi-year planning.

Anforderungen:

Completed studies in technical, natural sciences, or economic fields or positive completion of HTL/TGM/Kolleg training
excellent MS-Office knowledge
good English skills
programming knowledge is an advantage
knowledge of HASTUS shift scheduling software is an advantage
experience in project and process management is advantageous
self-reliance in work
readiness to work
self-confident demeanor
communication skills
high mathematical understanding for complex system processes
IT affinity
interest in public transport
good knowledge of the Vienna streetcar network is a plus.

Programming knowledge
knowledge of HASTUS shift scheduling software
