You will go through a tailored internal further training that supports you on the way to becoming a signal mechanic. In the process, you will further develop your competencies and learn extensive knowledge for your new role. At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a signal mechanic (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG in Regensburg. As part of a qualification, you will initially start as a skilled worker in the field of control and safety technology. You will go through several development steps with us in the first 18 months until you reach the target position of signal mechanic. Even beyond that, you can continue to develop professionally.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

responsible for the maintenance of a variety of different systems in the field of control and safety technology
focus on inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components, e.g., signals, switches, level crossings
use modern measuring devices to record and evaluate the condition of the system and are responsible for technical documentation
tasks in your regional area are mostly carried out in a team, independently and reliably
work starts and ends daily at your central base in Regensburg
go through our internal qualification program, attend regular training courses and constantly learn new things

Anforderungen:

successfully completed training in electrical engineering, e.g., as an electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist in industry, electronics technician for operational technology or automation technology
willingness to participate in rotating on-call duty (deployment every 4-5 weeks)
ability to work outdoors
reliable, team-oriented, and flexible
valid Class B driver's license is an advantage
