The job involves a tailored internal training program to qualify as a signal mechanic. The candidate will start as a specialist in signaling technology and go through several development steps over 18 months to reach the target position. Responsibilities include the repair and maintenance of various installations in signaling technology, working outdoors, and continuous learning through internal training programs.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components (e.g., signals, switches, level crossings)
assessing and documenting the condition of installations
working independently and reliably in a regional team

Anforderungen:

successfully completed training in electrical engineering (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist in industry, electronics technician for operational or automation technology)
willingness to work outdoors
reliability
teamwork
flexibility
valid Class B driver's license
