• responsible for the maintenance of various systems in the field of control and safety technology
• inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components (e.g., signals, switches, level crossings)
• use of modern service vehicles, tools, and devices
• communication via smartphone and tablet
• working in a collegial team with a flat organizational structure
• mostly working in small teams, independently and reliably
• supervising electrical systems in signal boxes and along the track
• primarily working outdoors
• participating in on-call duty for troubleshooting infrastructure
