Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves a tailored internal further training program to support the candidate in becoming a signal mechanic. The candidate will start as a skilled worker in the area of signaling and safety technology and go through several development steps over the first 18 months to reach the target position of signal mechanic. Further professional development is possible beyond this period.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

maintenance of various installations in the area of signaling and safety technology
inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components (e.g., signals, switches, level crossings)
assessment of installation conditions using modern measuring devices
technical documentation
tasks carried out independently and reliably in a team
participation in internal qualification program and regular training

Anforderungen:

successfully completed training in electrical engineering (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist in industry, electronics technician for operational technology or automation technology)
willingness to participate in rotating on-call duty (every 4-5 weeks)
ability to work outdoors
reliability
teamwork
flexibility
valid Class B driver's license is an advantage
