Jobbeschreibung:

Language course with option to start as a signal mechanic (w/m/d). Initial six-month technical qualification in Ditzingen and future deployment location, parallel German language course from B1 to B2. After successful completion, start as a skilled worker in signalling and safety technology and go through several development steps up to the target position as a signal mechanic.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Successful participation in a B2 language course with final B2 language exam
During qualification: gain insights into the basics of railway operations, learn technical vocabulary, achieve full recognition of qualification
After qualification: focus on electronic components (e.g., signals, points) and learn mechanical components
At deployment location: responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair of various installations in signalling and safety technology
Supervise electrical indoor and outdoor installations, primarily working outdoors
Perform tasks in regional area mostly in a team, independently, and reliably

Anforderungen:

Successfully completed vocational training in electrical engineering in home country (e.g., electronics technician for operational technology, automation technology, electrical systems installer, or mechatronics technician)
German language skills at level B1 at the start of the language course
(Partial) recognition of foreign professional qualification already available
Necessary commitment and extensive willingness to learn for the qualification phase in Ditzingen
Valid class B driver's license already available or willingness to have it converted promptly
No issue with working outdoors
Reliable, team-oriented, and flexible
Willingness for on-call duty on weekends
