• represent Deutsche Bahn at the train station and ensure customer satisfaction
• tasks in DB information and mobile service at the station and on the platforms
• provide information on track changes, operational disruptions, train cancellations, missed connections, and travel alternatives
• disseminate information to travelers via appropriate information systems and media
• issue passenger documents
• check posted timetables and posters for their current status and visual condition
• accept lost property
• assist mobility-impaired persons on the platform
• perform first aid duties

• successfully completed vocational training, preferably in a commercial or service-oriented field (e.g., hotel management, restaurant specialist, or retail salesperson)
• relevant experience in the service sector
• enjoys customer contact
• confident and well-groomed appearance
• high communication and advisory skills
• customer and service orientation
• willingness to work at various train stations in the vicinity
• flexibility and willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts, mainly on weekends)
• proficiency in German (spoken and written)
• English skills are an advantage
• willingness to further qualify as a platform supervisor
• willingness to prove operational fitness (examination as part of the selection process through an occupational medical examination)
