Senior UX/UI Product Designer

• design our digital journalistic products conceptually, functionally and visually across all devices
• translate complex structures into intuitive digital experiences that millions of users can operate easily
• create clear and aesthetic interfaces with a confident feel for typography, icon language, imagery, colors, shapes and structures
• work with an existing design system, develop it further and ensure a consistent visual design language
• the user is at the center of your work - from first ideas and scribbles through wireframes and prototypes to the final product
• best solutions are created in interdisciplinary collaboration with design, research, product management, development, editorial, marketing and external partners
• as an experienced designer, you keep an eye on current trends and innovations, share your knowledge in the team and actively participate in creative exchange

• successfully completed university degree or comparable training in a relevant field
• several years of experience in User Experience and User Interface Design
• confident handling of common design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe CC
• pronounced design and conceptual skills
• experience in working with prototyping tools
• knowledge of HTML and CSS
• very good German and English language skills

experience or knowledge in the field of moving images, e.g. video, live streaming, motion design or animation
