Jobbeschreibung:

Senior station inspector with craft skills for DB InfraGO AG at Gießen location, responsible for maintaining stations in proper condition, performing repairs and maintenance work, with occasional business trips and overnight stays

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Ensure stations are in proper condition
Fix defects on site
Perform structural maintenance measures
Take on refurbishment services
Handle smaller issues alone
Complete more complex measures in team with colleagues
Perform unscheduled on-site deployments not falling under emergency management (e.g., substitute measures in winter service)
Other operational activities like updating timetable displays/vitrines
Occasional overnight stays due to work at various stations in the region

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of a commercial-technical vocational training with a standard training period of at least 2.5 years (e.g., as a civil engineering worker, painter, bricklayer, gardener and landscaper) or equivalent operational training
Desirable first professional experience in the craft sector
Basic experience and technical knowledge in the area of minor structural repairs
General know-how in station supervision/refurbishment services
Secure command of German language in word and writing (minimum B2 level)
Communicative, team-oriented, well-organized, responsible and skilled in crafts
Possession of a class B driver's license (desirable would be B96/BE license)
Health suitability verified by company doctor during selection process
Regular business trips
Craft tasks with occasional use of larger equipment and physical effort (e.g., lifting and carrying)
Operation of mobile applications (smartphone app)

Wünschenswert:

First professional experience in the craft sector
B96/BE driver's license in addition to class B
