Verantwortlichkeiten
Responsible for central areas of general ledger accounting including monthly and annual financial statements, account reconciliation, and balance sheet preparation according to HGB
Act as interface to auditors, tax consultants, and adjacent finance areas
Independently manage general ledger areas and posting cycles, from ongoing bookkeeping to preparation and participation in monthly and annual financial statements
Perform account reconciliations and clarify complex business transactions
Handle balance sheet preparation according to HGB including provisions, accruals, and valuation of relevant balance sheet items
Perform regular intercompany reconciliations and clarify differences with group companies
Manage payment transactions, handle bank accounting, and ensure correct posting of payment processes
Support process optimization and actively participate in digitalization initiatives in the specialist area
Anforderungen
Successfully completed commercial training or a degree in Finance/Accounting
Ideally completed further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter IHK
Several years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial accounting (preferably in a corporate environment or a Shared Service Center)
Comprehensive knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements
Very good knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code)
Familiar with SAP FI (MM/SD advantageous)
Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
Working style described as careful, structured, and analytical
Pronounced personal responsibility and reliability
Strong team and communication skills
Good English skills
