Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves a 4-6 month internal training program in Southern Bavaria, preparing candidates for their future role as a shunting companion. The training includes theoretical modules in Munich and practical phases at the future workplace in Burghausen and other locations in Southern Bavaria. After training, the candidate will work alongside locomotive shunters to assemble freight trains, handle wagons, and ensure safety and documentation.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Assisting in assembling and preparing freight trains
Coupling and uncoupling wagons
Securing parked wagons
Connecting brake systems
Conducting brake tests and visual inspections
Handling freight and accompanying documents
Supporting locomotive shunters during shunting operations

Anforderungen:

School completion
Previous work experience (e.g., production assistant, construction helper, warehouse worker)
Medical and psychological fitness
Physical work preference
Teamwork skills
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
