The job involves training as a shunting companion at DB Cargo AG in Dingolfing. The 4-month training includes theoretical modules in Munich and practical phases at the future workplace. After training, responsibilities include assembling freight trains, coupling wagons, conducting brake tests, and supporting shunting drivers.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Assemble and prepare freight trains
Couple and uncouple wagons
Secure parked wagons
Connect brake systems
Conduct brake tests and visual inspections
Handle freight and accompanying documents
Support shunting drivers during shunting operations

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school
Previous work experience in production, construction, or warehouse work
Medical and psychological suitability
Willingness to work physically and outdoors
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Teamwork skills
