The job involves a 6-month internal retraining program in Seddin to prepare for the role of a shunting companion at DB Cargo AG in Maschen. The training includes theoretical modules and practical phases, with a tablet provided for digital learning materials.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Assisting in assembling and preparing freight trains
Coupling and uncoupling wagons
Securing parked wagons
Connecting brake systems
Conducting brake tests and visual inspections
Handling freight and accompanying documents
Supporting locomotive shunting drivers during shunting operations

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school
Previous work experience e.g. as production worker, construction helper, or warehouse worker
Medical and psychological suitability
Physical work preference
Ability to work in shifts including weekends and holidays
