Jobbeschreibung:

As a train driver, you are responsible for the safe operation of the trains and the punctual transportation of passengers. We are looking for career changers for retraining as train drivers (m/f/d) for DB Regio AG at the Neuruppin or Wittstock (Dosse) location. The deployment takes place at one of the two locations. During the 12-month in-house retraining at the training location Berlin, we prepare you for your job entry.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

ensuring safe and punctual transportation of passengers
maintaining the safety-relevant equipment and technical operability of the trains
ensuring cleanliness and order inside the train
making expert decisions and taking responsibility for people and vehicles
providing passenger information in case of deviations in operations
dealing with difficult customers patiently and with a friendly smile

Anforderungen:

20 years of age
school diploma
completed vocational training, preferably in a technical field
willingness to work irregular shifts (night shifts, holidays, weekends, varying daily working hours)
proficiency in German (at least B1 level)
willingness to learn, reliability, and commitment
clean driving record (points not a disqualifying factor)
readiness to undergo medical and psychological evaluation

Wünschenswert:

experience in a technical field
prior training as a train driver
