As a train driver, you are responsible for the safe operation of the trains and the punctual transportation of passengers. We are looking for career changers for retraining as a train driver (m/f/d) for DB Regio AG at the Berlin location. In the 12-month in-house retraining at the Berlin Lichtenberg training location, we prepare you for your job entry.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Ensuring safe and punctual transportation of passengers
responsible for safety-relevant equipment and technical operational readiness of the vehicles as well as cleanliness and order in the interior
making expert decisions and taking responsibility for people and vehicles
ensuring passenger information in case of deviations in rail operations
dealing with difficult customers with patience and a friendly smile

Anforderungen:

Completed 20th year of age
school leaving certificate
successfully completed vocational training, preferably in the technical field
willingness to work in irregular shift patterns (night shifts, public holidays and weekends, with varying daily working hours)
proficiency in German (at least B1 level)
willingness to learn, reliability and commitment
current extract from the driving aptitude register
willingness to prove medical and psychological suitability
