Six-month internship program (Student Track) starting April 2026 at DB InfraGO AG in Dresden. Involves working on infrastructure projects in southern Saxony and the Saxon Lusatia region. Program includes: joint kick-off event, workshop for personal and professional development, practical experience in several areas to build a personal network, individual mentoring, and a perspective discussion at the end. Opportunities for continuation as a working student, thesis writing, direct entry, or trainee program after the internship.

Verantwortlichkeiten

Accompany complex railway infrastructure projects in planning and implementation phases
Support quality, budget, and schedule-compliant implementation of assigned specialist tasks
Participate in tasks like alignment of railway facilities, renewal of engineering structures (e.g., railway overpasses, embankments, drainage systems)
Take on subtasks in projects to coordinate planning and construction services with involved trades
Coordinate with system managers, authorities, and third parties
Accompany planning approval procedures including plan changes, official permits, regular planning and project meetings
Visit construction sites
Support creation of construction schedule and phase plans, tendering of planning and construction services, calculations, and review of tender documents
Contribute to quality-assured data maintenance in control systems
After training, opportunity to take on smaller own projects

Anforderungen

Minimum 3rd Bachelor semester or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Management, or comparable technical program
First practical experience desirable
High affinity for technical issues
Strong interest in infrastructure projects
Confident handling of MS Office
Enjoy teamwork
Structured and independent way of working
High level of commitment
Interest in a long-term perspective
