At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you for a 6-month internship (w/m/d) at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH at the Cottbus or Leipzig location. You can look forward to an internship program with several components: Joint kick-off event with the other program participants, workshop for personal and professional development, practical experience in several areas to build your personal network, individual support by a competent mentor (w/m/d) during the program as well as a perspective discussion at the end of your internship. After the end of the program, many doors are open to you and you can, for example, continue working for us as a working student until the end of your studies or write your final thesis. This way you can set the course for your direct entry or your trainee program with us and actively advance your DB career. In the "Neues Werk Cottbus" project, we combine engineering, digitalization and sustainability - with the aim of actively advancing the transport revolution. Sounds exciting? Verantwortlichkeiten:

Support our project team in the development and implementation of a digital control application for production and logistics in the plant
Analyze SAP-based data and help prepare it for management decisions - for example with PowerBI
Get involved in topics such as: Maintenance order control, material requirements planning, capacity and resource planning, workshop order planning and tracking
Together we improve existing tools and create the basis for future AI applications through data structuring
Support our integrated schedule and milestone management, get to know project management methods and experience agile collaboration firsthand
In close coordination with sub-projects and engineers, you collect important production information - directly on site in Cottbus or also remotely from Taucha near Leipzig

Anforderungen:

Studying mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering with a technical focus or a comparable degree program
Interest in project management - ideally already have initial experience
Open to data-based solutions, familiar with digital tools and want to learn more about data modeling and ecosystems
Confident in using MS Office and ideally already have experience with project management tools such as MS Project or PowerBI, PowerApps
Work independently, are curious, enjoy teamwork and have the necessary drive to implement your ideas in practice
Communication is not a one-way street for you - you address things openly and enjoy new perspectives
Regular presence in Cottbus is required - that's where the heart of our project is

Wünschenswert:

Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or PowerBI, PowerApps
