As an intern at DB Management Consulting - the in-house consulting of Deutsche Bahn - you will be the first point of contact for the DB board members and business unit managers, driving the implementation of the group strategy "Starke Schiene" and making an effective contribution to Germany's transport transition. With around 80 consultants, you will work on the most important challenges of the DB Group. The variety of projects ranges from strategy work for the Digitale Schiene Deutschland to the optimization of vehicle procurement concepts in regional transport. As in-house consultants, you are close to the needs of our internal clients and support both strategy development and the sustainable implementation of solutions.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Being a full team member from day 1 and supporting the team across all hierarchical levels in all project phases
Participating in the preparation and follow-up as well as the execution of workshops, interviews and meetings
Taking responsibility for own work packages, supporting the project team with the analysis of complex issues and the development of solution concepts
Creating result presentations for top management and board members
Working directly with the project team on site with clients to better understand their challenges

Anforderungen:

Studying in at least the 3rd semester with above-average grades
Passion for mobility and logistics trends
Ideally, first practical experience from a student consulting firm or internships in management consulting
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel as required by clients - mostly to Frankfurt or Berlin - and usually working from home on Fridays
Analytical and structured way of working as well as strong communication skills
