OSB Operator Trainee position at Kronospan, the world's leading producer of wood panel products. This is a rotating shift schedule position. Relocation / immigration assistance is not available for this position.

Verantwortlichkeiten

Perform all assigned tasks, including but not limited to, the safe, efficient operation of the board equipment and associated equipment
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area of responsibility
Understand and manipulate computer software related to the operation of the OSB line and associated equipment
Identify conditions which may lead to substandard quality or up-time and initiate the proper corrective action
Assisting operators and maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment

Anforderungen

Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work closely with others in a small team environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
Strong analytical skills
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Excellent attendance record
Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Wünschenswert

Experience in an OSB production plant, or in a manufacturing setting
Associate's degree in a mechanical related field
