Jobbeschreibung:

For exciting, varied electrical new construction and conversion projects throughout Germany, we are looking for you as an overhead line installer (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH on changing construction sites. Your area of operation is all of Germany, allowing you to discover new regions repeatedly. As part of an internal qualification, we prepare you for your work as an overhead line installer.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Install and repair components of Deutsche Bahn's overhead line systems as part of a strong and qualified team
Work under the guidance of an experienced construction manager with modern equipment, machines, measuring instruments, and vehicles
Install overhead line systems at heights of up to 15 meters by attaching the contact wire to the masts using connecting wires and eyes
Check and ensure that the contact wire is installed at the correct height along the entire route
Work safely in the track area during ongoing operations

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of vocational training as a locksmith, industrial mechanic, overhead line installer, or in a comparable metal or electrical trade
Willingness for shift and weekend work - nationwide on changing construction sites
Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks
Reliability and teamwork
Engagement and strong willingness to learn for the internal qualification program
Valid class B driver's license
