Oberbauschweißer

• qualitative welding and grinding work as part of maintenance measures on rails and parts of the switch
• measuring work and creating insulated joint connections in the operating track
• ensuring the acceptance capability of the work performed
• independently performing thermite and arc welding as well as flame cutting work after completed training
• checking the operational readiness of devices, tools, and vehicles
• collaborating with team leaders in preparing the construction site

• successfully completed apprenticeship as a track/construction worker, metalworker, locksmith, or in another metalworking profession
• experience as an overhead welder
• willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, and holiday work)
• physical fitness
• driving license class B
• advantageous to have driving license class C1
