As a Railway Track Welder (Oberbauschweißer), your main tasks involve ensuring the seamless welding of railway tracks and performing welding and related processes, including measuring, grinding, and thermal cutting tasks. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation and working within two-person outdoor teams. The position is based in München, Germany, and involves shifts across Bavaria.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Welding rails to perfect the seamless track
performing rail overlay and connection welding tasks, such as measuring, grinding, or cutting using various railway welding techniques (arc welding, thermite welding, and cutting work)
forming insulated rail joints on tracks
independently maintaining a construction log, welding protocols, and incident reports

Anforderungen:

Experience in a craft profession and readiness to become a certified railway track welder
readiness to acquire one or more qualifications in railway track welding processes
possession of a valid C1 driver's license (7.5t) or willingness to obtain it
willingness to work throughout Bavaria in shifts (night, weekend, and public holiday work)
teamwork skills (working typically in a two-person crew)
enjoying working outdoors
