Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves working as an assistant train driver in track construction (superstructure) for DB InfraGO AG in Dresden or Riesa. The role includes maintenance of track infrastructure, supply of materials, and transport of colleagues, with work often outdoors and in shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Ensuring demand-based and requirement-compliant maintenance of track infrastructure (superstructure)
Supporting the superstructure team in inspection, maintenance, and repair work on rails, sleepers, and track bed
Regularly supplying construction sites with materials and tools
Transporting colleagues to the work site with the train
Working outdoors, on weekends, nights, and holidays

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of vocational training in a technical field (e.g., locksmith, metalworker, civil engineer, mason, or equivalent qualification)
Completed training as a train driver or willingness to complete it
Willingness to work in shift work (night, weekend, holiday work) and participate in on-call duty
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding tasks
Valid Class B driver's license
