Jobbeschreibung:

The Deutsche Bahn is looking for apprentices for a 3.5-year training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) starting on September 1, 2026. The training takes place in Berlin, with vocational school in Berlin-Spandau and the training workshop in Berlin-Schöneweide. The apprenticeship includes learning the basics of mechanics and electronics, performing maintenance and repairs, and using modern measuring and testing equipment.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Learn the basics of mechanics and electronics
Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles or technical systems in train stations or the rail network
Use modern measuring and testing equipment to find faults
Check electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
Learn about the maintenance of railway crossing systems and control systems in vehicles

Anforderungen:

School diploma recognized in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
Interest in technology and teamwork
Good knowledge in math and physics
Reliability
Precision and willingness to work hard
