The DB Regio AG is looking for an apprentice Mechatroniker:in (m/f/d) starting on September 1, 2026, in Köln. The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years and includes vocational school and training in the workshop. The role involves working on various trains in the workshop, learning about mechanics and electronics, and performing maintenance and repairs.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Learn the basics of mechanics and electronics
Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Inspect mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Use modern measuring and testing devices
Become an expert in the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of complex systems, machines, and vehicles

Anforderungen:

School successfully completed with a recognized German diploma
German language skills at least B2 level
Interest in technology and teamwork
Good knowledge in mathematics and physics
Reliability
Precision and willingness to work hard
